Our Projects

Solar and wind energy create increasing imbalance risks and congestion problems. We are currently developing multiple locations for large scale battery energy storage systems. Each of these systems will have a power capacity between 25 MW and 100 MW and can be charged and discharged for multiple hours. These strategically located battery systems help balancing the energy grid and enable a smooth energy transition.

Non-congestion locations have the maximum level of flexibility in time and capacity for the client to operate the battery.

Batteries are a great tool for congestion management. In congested locations special agreements are made with the grid operator (DSO) to help manage congestion. Most of the time there is enough free capacity for the client to operate the battery without any constraints.
