About the project

Project Peridot (544 MW / 2,176 MWh) will support the Aachen region as it transitions from coal to renewables. Situated at the crossroads of Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands, it provides flexibility for both local demand and cross-border power flows. In cooperation with the city of Baesweiler, the Aachen region, and local partners, Peridot contributes to a sustainable and interconnected European energy system.
