About the project

Nestled within an innovative industrial park, our 150 MW/600-MWh energy storage system is designed to enhance grid stability and renewable energy integration. This strategically located project will provide critical grid balancing capabilities, supporting the region's ambitious clean energy goals and strengthening the Flemish power infrastructure. By developing the industrial space into a forward-thinking energy solution, we're showcasing how intelligent storage technologies can bridge the gap between intermittent renewable generation and consistent power supply, positioning the BESS project at the forefront of Belgium's sustainable energy future. We are currently securing the required permits and securing the grid connection.
